Nelt donated EUR240,000 to the National Health Insurance Fund for the procurement of 10 respirators for treating the most severe forms of COVID-19, whereas Neoplanta, a member of the Nelt Group, donated products in the value of RSD6,000,000 for a campaign of aiding 173,000 Belgrade citizens older than 65 with lowest pensions.
One of our most successful private companies responded to an appeal of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its president Marko Čadež and confirmed its solidarity in these adverse and challenging days for our country and the entire world.
“We are sending all support to medical professionals in the fight against the virus and respect their commitment to combating the pandemic. The donation we provided is our contribution to their dedication and to all citizens in need, so that we all together overcome this situation as winners,” said Miloš Jelić, the Nelt Group CEO.
The company underlines that this is an excellent opportunity for mentioning all those great people who work in distribution and logistics – deliverers, warehouse workers, sales staff, display workers, drivers and many others. Everyone who provides personal contribution to the functioning of the entire system at the time of the emergency situation must not be neglected and has to be commended.
President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry also expressed gratitude towards all the companies which participated in the campaign of the Chamber and the city of Belgrade for providing packages for pensioners, as well as towards all businesses which donated funds for designated accounts for other purposes, and invited the business sector to continue expressing its solidarity in practice in this manner.
