Commemorative philatelic issue presented in the PTT Museum In Belgrade
Today, in the PTT Museum in Belgrade, the Post of Serbia, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in the Republic of Serbia, officially presented a commemorative philatelic issue commemorating the centenary of the proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye.
The stamp with the image of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the modern Republic of Türkiye, was presented by H.E. Hami Aksoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Serbia, and Zoran Djordjević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.

„By issuing this postage stamp, we mark an important moment in the history of the Republic of Türkiye. Today is an opportunity to highlight our deep political and economic partnership and friendship and our commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties and relations between our two countries,” Djordjević said.
The commemorative philatelic issue „100 years since the founding of the Republic of Türkiye” contains one commemorative stamp in the form of a block, a first-day cover, and a commemorative seal. It was published in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye. The artistic realization of the issue is the work of Boban Savić, MA, Academic Painter and creator of stamps for the Post of Serbia.
