Through the unique Earth of the future, as the topic of this year’s Science Festival has been published, over 30 000 visitors from all over Serbia and the region have passed during the four days at the Belgrade Fair!
The largest scientific party in this part of Europe, which gathered more than 60 scientific and educational institutions from Serbia, with more than 6000 experiments carried out visitors of all ages through scientific challenges, interactive settings and numerous adventures from the not so far future. In order to show how our planet should look like in the future, the Science Festival this year revealed through the Halls 3, 3A and Hall 5 to visitors and what each of us could do to achieve it.
Visitors who have embarked on a trip to the Earth of the Future welcomed over 700 scientists and scientific demonstrators ready to make their beautiful, greener and safer place to live with their knowledge and skill.
The youngest visitors enjoyed explosive experiments, scientific stories and inventions that defied the limits of physics. With laughter, applause and cordiality, more than ten scientific hubs from the USA and Europe who performed at the Science and Fantasy Theater were sent. The older ones studied how future vehicles would look like, what energy sources would be used and what kind of homes they would live in. All together they could play in a large scientific playground, where old recruiting exercises were obtained with the help of recycling. Through the animal kingdom they were led by small forest animals, they were able to find out a handful of tips on survival in the wild, and the basics of neuroscience were mastered with the help of original devices of the device itself.
For the first time this year, the Science Festival presented a generation of honorable ambassadors of science, elementary and high school students from all over the country whose original inventions and scientific adventures delighted the visitors of the Expert Expert zone. Their mission for the next year will be to transfer both knowledge and love for science to peers in their cities, extending further experiences gained during the festival’s work.
The general sponsor of the Science Festival for the sixth consecutive year is NIS, a company that relies on modern technologies and innovations every day in all business segments. In this way, NIS and the Science Festival together contribute to the affirmation of science and education among young people in Serbia, which is one of the strategic goals of the company that realizes its socially responsible projects under the slogan “The future at work”.
