The world has been buzzing around the potential of 5G and its impact on citizens, business and states. But what’s needed to make 5G a reality? On October 30th Confindustria Serbia’s “5G and enabled technologies conference” will address this question, focusing in particular on the greater speed, lower latency and the ability to connect a lot more devices at once.
As 5G gains pace, security will become an even more pressing need thus the conference will analyze the use of blockchain technologies as a guarantee for privacy, transparency and security.
One of the most interesting guests at this year’s Confindustria Serbia’s digital initiative will be Ms. Loretta Joseph, Fintech and Regulatory Consultant. Ms. Joseph has over 25 years of experience in the global financial services industry, and is a Blockchain and technology advisor to companies, organizations and governments.
The conference will also feature telecom companies representatives, local and international experts, such as: Marco Pironti, Deputy Mayor of Innovation, Smart City and ICT Systems of the City of Torino; Giampaolo Fiorentino, Board Member at 5G PPP (The 5G Infrastructure Public Private Partnership), a joint initiative between the European Commission and European ICT industry and Riccardo Mascolo, Ericsson Strategy and Business Development Director for Italy and South East Mediterranean.
