On the occasion of the national day of Egypt which is celebrated on July 23, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Serbia organized a reception in Belgrade Crown Plaza Hotel.
The reception was hosted by H.E. Mr. Bassel Salah and Madam Maha Baraka on 8th June 2024 with a company of many distinguished guests.
This year’s celebration in Serbia was marked by the announcement of the signing of a free trade agreement between Egypt and Serbia, which will be signed in the coming days and will open the door to broad economic cooperation between the two countries, which have always maintained very close and friendly relations.
National Day of Egypt is the annual celebration of the Egyptian Revolution of 1952 when the modern republic of Egypt was declared, ending the period of the Kingdom of Egypt.
The reception was attended by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and numerous Serbian officials.
