On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the Ambassador of Portugal to Serbia, H.E. José Velez Caroço, inaugurated the exhibition “Belgrade-Lisbon: Fifty Years of Democracy in Portugal” at the Archives of Yugoslavia in Belgrade. The event, which began at 12:00, was followed by a cocktail reception.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Embassy of Portugal, features significant archival documents and photos. It highlights Belgrade’s perspectives on the Portuguese Carnation Revolution of April 25, 1974, which marks its 50th anniversary this year.
