FIRST IN SERBIA: HEINEKEN Serbia awarded the European-recognized umbrella certificate “Socially Responsible Employer “

HEINEKEN Serbia is the first company in Serbia to receive the European-recognized umbrella certificate Socially Responsible Employer, which encompasses all five areas: organizational management, work-life balance, organizational culture and employee development, health and safety in the workplace, and environmental impact

The certificate is awarded by Balance Company in accordance with the certification scheme of the Ekvilib Institute from Slovenia and is based on the principles and core content of the international standard ISO 26000, which comprehensively addresses the area of social responsibility, with an emphasis on the treatment of employees.

Sabir Džafar, General Director of HEINEKEN Serbia, emphasized that the certificate is yet another confirmation of the company’s commitment to strategically managing social responsibility, along with its ongoing dedication to employees.

“We are committed to achieving sustainable development goals, and we consider our relationship with employees to be key to the development of our business culture. Employee satisfaction directly affects their quality of life and the work atmosphere, and we are proud that our efforts have been recognized and rewarded”, said Džafar.
