From February 6th to 9th, the Belgrade Cultural Center Hall will host a review of contemporary Hungarian film
This year, the Hungarian Film Days are being organized for the second time in cooperation with the Collegium Hungaricum – Hungarian Cultural Center and the Cultural Center of Belgrade.
The event will be opened on Thursday, February 6th, at 7 p.m. by Robert Kasab, Director of the Collegium Hungaricum, and Ivan Arandjelović, Film Program Editor of the Belgrade Cultural Center, and after the official opening, the audience will be able to watch the animated documentary “The Blue Pelican” by director László Csáky.
“On behalf of the Collegium Hungaricum, we proudly present the best that Hungarian cinema has to offer in 2025. We want to show the Serbian audience that our films touch on different topics, genres and social issues, but also carry many other meanings and values. We especially highlight the work that we will screen at the opening, The Blue Pelican, an animated film that showcases the rich heritage of Hungarian animation and visual thinking.
We hope that you will enjoy the films and that the Days of Hungarian Film in Belgrade will become a tradition and a meeting place for film and cinema lovers,” said Robert Kassab, Director of the Collegium Hungaricum. A total of seven films will be screened during the festival, notable achievements of contemporary Hungarian cinema, screened and awarded at various festivals around the world. |
