COCA-COLA PRESENTED LIMITED SERIES OF DESIGNED BOTTLES INSPIRED BY VIRTUES OF PEOPLE IN SERBIA

For the second year in a row, Coca-Cola has presented an exclusive, limited series of bottles, designed by a team of six local artists, inspired by the virtues and character of people in Serbia, to the local public. Through another example of collaboration with local authors, Coca-Cola has once again confirmed its commitment to supporting local artists and participating in developing an alternative cultural scene in Serbia. Furthermore, with such projects, Coca-Cola presents the area of applied design to the general public as well, since each bottle represents a work of art.

After the last year’s series of bottles inspired by sensations resulting from consuming Coca-Cola, fans of this drink now get an opportunity for an even better Coca-Cola experience with the bottles inspired by some of the most prominent features of people in Serbia. Traditional hospitality, resourcefulness, creativity, passion for music and fun, feeling of closeness and togetherness are only some of the traits which inspired Nemanja Jehlička, Monika Lang, Aleksandar Savić, Vesna Pešić, Petar Popović Piros and EmaEmaEma to design six unique and authentic Coca-Cola bottles.

Coca-Cola has been a local brand for 50 years now and each of us has at least one memory from growing up and living in Serbia where Coca-Cola had its role. The idea of having our young talented artists present their view of the finest features of people in our country is a result of our aspiration to look for and provide local value in everything we do. We have aimed to promote work of some of young artists with high prospects using an unusual artistic form, namely Coca-Cola bottles, and provide them with space to present their talent. We hope that we have succeeded in it and that our fans will really enjoy the unique Coca-Cola experience this summer,” noted Tanja Petrović, marketing Manager of Coca-Cola Serbia.

Another Coca-Cola summer of good vibrations has started at a big party in the Old Brick Mill with an official presentation of the new bottles, in the presence of the numerous artists, designers, celebrities, partners and friends of the Company. The designed bottles will be available in selected HoReCa facilities during the summer only, and Coca-Cola fans can collect the bottles, as they are non-refundable.

The event has also included a presentation of the winners of the Coca-Cola DesignInspiration contest for applied design. Aiming to promote young and talented artists, Coca-Cola Serbia organised the contest for students and graduates of art faculties in creating a unique design of coffee shop interior elements. Upon the occasion, an exhibition of the winning and other works competing at the contest has been organised. It is open for the public during the Dev9t Festival, on June 09-17, in the Old Brick Mill.
