Entering the international market is the most important business venture of Delta Holding this year. In the first half of 2017, the construction of the InterContinental Hotel in Ljubljana (worth EUR 50 million, the beginning of operation in August) was completed and construction of shopping mall Delta Planet in Banja Luka started (investment of 70 million euros, opening in autumn 2018).
By the end of the year, it is planned to launch new projects in the countries of the European Union and the region. In the first six months of this year, Delta Holding’s turnover amounted to 30 billion dinars, representing an increase of 13% compared to the same period last year. The largest share in the Holding’s income (more than 50%) was realised in Delta Agrar and then in Delta Distribution. Since the beginning of the year, Delta has paid 6 billion dinars of taxes to the budget of the Republic of Serbia. Delta Holding companies record revenue growth and expansion of product portfolio:
Delta Agrar invested EUR 10 million in the expansion and expansion of its operations. Hotel Crowne Plaza realized 52,484 overnight stays and total revenue of 6,186,074 euros. Delta Motors sold 26% more vehicles than last year. He received an award for the introduction of electric vehicles on the Serbian market and the BMW Presidents Award, the most prestigious award for the BMW Auto Group for business results. Delta Transport System has 27% higher revenues compared to last year and more than 150 new customers.
Mioni and FunFit have re-branded their existing products. New products – Black and Yellow Juice, as well as the redesigned Aqua Gala – were presented on the market. In order to successfully implement all started and planned projects, Delta Holding has launched a competition for the sixth generation of young leaders earlier this year than in May. Nearly 2,000 candidates applied for the competition under the slogan “Extraordinary Contest for Extraordinary People”, and in September, 30 selected will start their career in the Delta. In addition to excellent financial results, the company also received a national social responsibility award and presented the 8th Sustainable and Responsible Business Report. In the first six months of this year, it invested 337,000 euros in the development of the community.
