Bosch, as the leading global provider of technology and services, continues to grow in Serbia and it achieved success in the first half of 2017.
The company is now in the 8th place on the list of 15 largest exporters, announced by the Ministry of Finance of Serbia. Bosch factory for the production of wiper systems in the municipality of Pećinci has been recording steady growth since the opening five years ago. “In the coming years, we expect to continue to develop in Serbia,” says Jovanka Jovanović, Bosch’s general manager in Serbia. “Accordingly, we significantly increased investments in production capacities, in activities in the field of information and communication technologies, as well as in the increase in the number of employees. The expansion of the dual education programme will be one of the priorities of the next year. “Bosch has invested more than 52 million euros on the Serbian market so far. Only in 2016, the company invested about 10 million euros. In the year of 2016, Bosch Serbia realized income of 20.7 billion dinars (168.2 million euros). In 2015, the company opened two new IT departments in Serbia that support the business divisions of Mobility Solutions (Automotive) and Electric Hand Tools, and which continuously expands its range of services.
