In the introductory address, the chairman of the Steering Committee of the ŠSTK, Ms. Yana Mikhailova, highlighted the importance of innovations for further strengthening of the economic relations between Switzerland and Serbia.
Swiss ambassador to Serbia, Philippe Guex, emphasized that innovations are crucial for the development of Swiss-Serbian relations, citing the Science and Technology Park (NTP) as an example: “It is the first institution of its kind in Serbia, which has become a key player in the innovation ecosystem – within it high-tech products that are competitive on foreign markets. The Swiss Secretariat for Economics finances the work of the NTP and it is a great pleasure for me that a few days ago this support has been extended. In this way, we want to accelerate the growth of exports, which is essential for the development of the Serbian economy. “
