For the international humanitarian organization SOS Children’s Village June 23 is a special day, because Dr. Hermann Gmeiner, the founder and founder of this organization that helps more than 1,200,000 people around the world was born on that day.
He achieved what most people would say was impossible, and after his death, the organization continued to live his motto and provide “A House of Love for Every Child”. And the SOS Children’s Village Serbia will celebrate this special day, the 69th birthday of the organization, with great enthusiasm in several locations. On Friday, June 22, children were able to participate in various events such as: creative activities for children, users of the Center for Strengthening Families in New Belgrade, Zemun and Obrenovac, a creative workshop in the Čair Park at 18: 30h, organized a program for strengthening the family “Roadmap” in Niš in cooperation with the Foundation “Children’s Center”. Children were able to produce drawings with motifs characteristic for different countries in which this organization exists, a cultural and artistic program in the SOS Children’s Village Kraljevo.
