The exhibition of the “Sustainable Development Objectives – Agenda 2030” illustrations was opened in Aleja Heroja at the Kalemegdan Fortress.
The drawings of the renowned illustrator Dobrosav Bob Živković in a humorous way represen 17 goals of sustainable development, which together make the Agenda on sustainable development by 2030, a document adopted at the UN Summit in New York in September 2015. The exhibition aimed at highlighting and explaining the significance of the Agenda 2030 for everyday life of citizens of our country is organised by the Government of Serbia and the German Development Cooperation implemented by GIZ, within the project “Public Finance Reform – Financing the Agenda 2030.” H. E. Thomas Schieb, Ambassador of Germany to Serbia pointed out that the goals of sustainable development and acquis communautaire are closely linked and mutually reinforcing, and that they have a common commitment to sustainability that will bring benefits to every layer of society. The exhibition “The Objectives of Sustainable Development – Agenda 2030” will be open for the next month, and visitors will have the opportunity to get information about Agenda 2030, as well as about each individual goal, through brief informative articles accompanying the illustrations.
