The cargo network System Alliance Europe is strengthened in Italy and Ireland. On 1st July 2019, the forwarding companies Bianchi & C. SRL, based in Como (IT) and PRL Freight Ireland Unlimited Co, based in Dublin (IE), joined the European groupage network.
The Chairman of the Steering Committee of the System Alliance Europe, Oliver Rüter, is pleased: “The new partnerships show that we are on the right track. Our cooperation is still highly attractive, as we have opened up further and do not think in the classical closed way anyway.”
The spokespersons for both companies, Marco Zennaro (Bianchi) and Michael Kenny (PRL) initially signed preliminary agreements at the Shareholder Assembly in Birmingham and agreed: “With this partnership we are taking the right step. The standards installed in the cooperation help us to noticeably increase the service level for customers. We are also looking forward to the opportunity to win new partnerships by participating in System Alliance Europe.”
For the cooperation, the gain means a significant plus in service. Bianchi operates a nationwide pick-up and delivery network in Italy with guaranteed transit times, PRL is the leading logistics provider in Ireland and operates as a full-service provider for a number of well-known customers.
System Alliance Europe combines the competencies of leading medium-sized logistic service providers. We offer customers a European platform for groupage transport through their own regional partner. Organizational and IT guidelines guarantee high quality standards, transparent processes and reliable handling of shipments. Gebrüder Weiss is an official partner of System Alliance Europe.
