Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger about cooperation that this organisation has with Serbia as a key factor of security, stability and economic development in the region.
Brnabic stated that she is satisfied with the cooperation that the Serbian government has with the OSCE Mission to Serbia, and that the expert support that this mission provides to local authorities and institutions is extremely important for our country.
The interlocutors agreed that it is important that the process of adopting the new media strategy be transparent and inclusive, and Greminger announced that the OSCE will continue to support Serbia’s institutions in implementing key reforms in the country.
The Prime Minister underlined that she appreciated the cooperation with the OSCE and its Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in improving the election process.
She recalled that with the aim of following the recommendations and improving the election process, the Serbian government passed on 29 August the Decision to establish a Working Group for Cooperation with the OSCE and ODIHR, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic.
