Generali Osiguranje Serbia is the winner of this year’s award for the most gender-sensitive company. The award was awarded on October 28, at the “Success Flower for Dragon Lady 2020”, organized by the Association of Businesswomen of Serbia.
“For us, the ‘Most Gender-Sensitive Company’ award is confirmation that we take care of our employees, their needs and ambitions in the right way, by nurturing a creative work environment which motivates and provides equal opportunity to every individual, and we favour expertise, dedication and achieved results. We achieve this through numerous measures and benefits aimed at achieving a balance between private and business life of our employees. We are proud that there is no gender-based discrimination in our family. We believe that we stand out in this regard, and we want the public to recognize us as a modern company which nurtures diversity and inclusion and provides equal opportunities to all employees,” said Sanela Kuč, Labor Law Associate at the HR and Organization Department, who received the prestigious award on behalf of the company.
The ‘Most Gender-Sensitive Company’ award was created within the ‘Equal in Value Chain’ project, implemented jointly by the Association of Businesswomen of Serbia, the Coordination Body for Gender Equality and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Serbia. It is awarded to big companies which apply the 5th UN principle for empowering women, and which offer the best model of including women in the supply chain.
The award was granted for the first time in 2018, at the “Success Flower for Dragon Lady” event.
