5th Regional Conference devoted to minority and local media will be held on November 10 in Novi Sad in castle Egység. It`s 5th edition reflects the theme of social integration with phenomenon of community. In this context it reflects that understanding of identity, culture and position of minority and local media are protagonists of new solutions in the time of intensive changes and creation of new parameters, which constitute the governing modern society.
Central discourse this conference deals with is the meaning of community and belonging to it.
How is membership in a particular community manifested today? What are the relevant anthropological, logical, economic and cultural aspects of involvement in communities of the new era? Where is the limit of belonging and how it moves in the mobile and digital social environment? Does a member of a minority community in the Diaspora, which is physically far away from nuts, actually has a sense of belonging to that community? In what ways this loyalty is maintained? Where occurs and where it is deleted item relevance belonging to a particular community?
We will meet with the phenomena of communities of the new age with examples of good practice, net communities, agile group on social networks that generate an active sense of belonging. In this context, we will deal with minority and local media as source of solutions, in the center of which is the question of their own identity and dialogue between them.
