Eurobank is participating in the program ‘My Data for Bank’ initiated by the eGovernment portal of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the Association of Serbian Banks. This project corresponds with Eurobank’s strategic focus on business digitalisation, representing an important step in the process of further connection and collaboration between the public administration and the private sector.
Via this program, citizens using the eGovernment services will be enabled to apply for a loan without validating a certificate of employment and income with their employer or the pension fund for pensioners, as well as to execute a lending product with a single visit to the bank.
‘We are honoured to be one of the first three banks participating in the exceptionally innovative program such as ‘My Data for Bank’. Eurobank continually works on further upgrading of its processes and products, while adopting innovation in accordance with opportunities brought by digitalisation. I believe that the service ‘My Data for Bank’ will contribute to providing unique user experience to our clients, helping us make the processes even faster and more efficient’, said Slavica Pavlović, President of the Executive Board at Eurobank.
As a first step in the execution of this project, eGovernment managed to integrate citizens’ data from the databases of the largest state authorities, thus providing the opportunity for banks to communicate with eGovernment only and accelerating settlement of clients’ obligations. The National Bank of Serbia additionally streamlined the loan refinancing process for retail clients by introducing mandatory communication among banks, so that clients can settle all obligations by visiting one bank only.
