Opening of the ski season on Kopaonik with exclusive performances by famous musicians
The 2021/2022 ski season at the Gorski Hotel & Spa**** on the Kopaonik Mountain has officially started with the opening of the ski slopes and putting into service the cable cars. The Gorski Hotel & Spa**** has prepared surprises for all its guests, which will please both the fans of winter sports and sophisticated music connoisseurs, because several music stars are scheduled to perform here from 8th to 17th December.
This year, Ski Opening on the Kopaonik celebrates its 10th birthday and has become synonymous with fun and great music. The official ski season opened on 10th December with a performance by Edita, while Aca Lucas performed in concert the next day. Megaband opened for both musicians. Apart from being a ski centre, our biggest mountain will also become a big dance podium. With the support of the Skymusic music production company, the hotel will host performances by famous musicians for its visitors from all over the region to mark the upcoming ski season.
This winter season begins with numerous parties and new unique flavours at the La Pista restaurant and the Lobby Bar at the Gorski Hotel & Spa****, which will take place during the Winter Fest that features musical performances by many famous artists.
The hotel will host performances by the St. Louis Band and Gramophonedzie #3 Live, but also DJ Daniel Cehranov, DJ Zarez, DJ Sparow Vrabac, Sax&Groove, Euterpa, Momir and Lana, Victoria Baronova, James Brown, and the band Bajka za Devojčice, which will perform at the Gorski Hotel & Spa**** until the New Year’s Eve.
According to Milorad Janković, General Manager of Gorski Hotel & Spa****, in addition to the Gorski Winter Festival, which is organized for hotel guests, the hotel has prepared many gastronomic surprises befitting of the best European winter resorts. The hotel’s restaurant La Pista offers menus consisting of ten or six dishes, which are an homage to Italy with a touch of Serbia. A winter cooking school will take place for the youngest guests, during which confectioners and chefs will hold a Master class adapted to children. The spa area will provide the ultimate pampering for hotel guests with a wide range of massages and other facial and body treatments. In the spirit of a good host, all hotel guests were given free tickets for both days of the music festival to see the concerts of Edita and Aca Lukas, but also ski passes and attractive discounts for additional overnight stays at the hotel. Mr Janković adds that the Kopaonik will be the fun central this winter while adhering to all prescribed epidemiological measures.
The hotel also adheres to all the measures and recommendations of the Crisis Response Team and the Government of the Republic of Serbia. New procedures have been introduced to provide the highest level of protection for guests and employees, such as wardens checking COVID certificates or certificates issued by an official state laboratory, and PCR and lateral flow tests that should be valid no longer than 7 months.
