The ceremonial gala evening of the Italian-Serbian businesspeople and awarding prizes “Giuseppe Maria Leonardi” to Valy doo Company confirmed an outstanding example of successful economic relations and in the broader sense good institutional, diplomatic, economic and cultural cooperation between Italy and Serbia.
This year’s ceremony had a special significance because it was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Italy and HE Giuseppe Manzo. He said: “This evening is another sign of a healthy and substantional friendly relations between Italy and Serbia, which this year confirms the leading position of our country in economy and trade. It is significant that the Italian entrepreneurs in Serbia calculated the annual balance just today, a day that marks the opening of a new chapter in the accession negotiations Serbia to the European Union, which Italy would continue resolutely to support, among other occasions in anticipation of the Summit of the Western Balkans, which will be hosted in 2017. ” “We need to look at what has been done, collect energy and then turn immediately in 2017” said President of the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Executive Board of DDOR Novi Sad Dr. Giorgio Marchegiani. Special guest of the gala evening was the Minister of State Administration and Local Government, Ana Brnabić. General Director of Valy doo Mr. Albert Gras got the prize for outstanding contribution to employment, education and training of employees, growth of export from Serbia, constant investment in new technologies and innovations, as well as contributing to the support and development of local communities where it operates, and improving the economic, commercial and cultural relations between Italy and Serbia.
