At the 89th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, which opened on Saturday, May 21, the Company Mlekoprodukt achieved a notable success that once again confirmed this Company’s leading role in the Serbian dairy industry: semi-hard cheese with cow milk Biser Selekta and hard cheese with sheep milk Biser Selekta won special gold medals and were declared champions in their product group.
Apart from these two kinds of cheese, three other products were also crowned with gold medals: Biser Butter, Biser Perfetta, and Biser Kačkavalj cheese. On top of the five gold medals, Mlekoprodukt won another recognition for the exceptional quality of the products – the Novi Sad Fair Cup.
On behalf of Mlekoprodukt, the awards granted by the International Agricultural Fair Jury, one of the most prestigious and oldest events of this kind in the country, were taken over on Saturday by Industrial Manager Gordana Mačak, Ph.D. in food technology and microbiology, who has been working at Mlekoprodukt for 30 years.
By May 27, 1,100 exhibitors from 21 countries have attended the Novi Sad Fair after a two-year pandemic-caused break. The notable achievement of Mlekoprodukt at the International Agricultural Fair is a new testimonial to the continuous product quality of this Company, which operates under the auspices of the French Savencia Fromage & Dairy Group.
