Banca Intesa confirmed in 2016 its leading position in the segment of housing loans, with YOY growth of loans insured with the National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (NMIC) of over 40 percent and market share of 23 percent.
Last year, the bank realised the housing loans insured with the National Corporation for a total of 62.3 million euros, compared with 43.3 million in 2015, helping the citizens of Serbia to solve their housing problems at very favourable terms. Growth was also recorded in the number of approved housing loans, which increased from 1,047 in 2015 to 1,487 at the end of 2016. “In the coming period we plan to further improve and offer local currency housing loans,” said Nikša Ilović, Director of Retail Banking of Banca Intesa. Housing loans insured with the NMIC with fixed monthly installment available to citizens with an interest rate of 3.29 percent annually during the entire repayment period to 15 years.
