H.E. Damjan Bergat, ambassador of Slovenia in Serbia, as one of the participants of the “Summer 2023” conference, at the beginning of his presentation listed the natural resources as advantages of his country that they can offer in tourism.
“Slovenia is a small country located in Central Europe, known for its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and outdoor activities. It is becoming more and more popular for tourists around the world. Besides Ljubljana, Slovenia has many other attractions, such as the Julian Alps, the Karst region, and the coast of the Adriatic Sea,” Bergat pointed out.
He also mentioned the thermal spas as one of the tourist attractions, which, he says, are scattered around the country: “These spas offer visitors the chance to relax and enjoy the natural thermal waters.”
As one of the advantages, Bergat mentioned the sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism that Slovenia fosters.
“Slovenia is recognized as a sustainable tourism destination with a focus on responsible and environmentally friendly practices. Visitors can definitely enjoy their travels with minimal impact on the environment,” said the ambassador.
