An inspirational gathering of successful women and aspiring female students, supported by the government of the Republic of Serbia, set to take place on November 20th
The project “Women in Business, Media & Culture” organized by the Association “The Best Fest” and the company Color Media Communications, dedicated to encouraging female entrepreneurship in these areas supported by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, will be held on November 20th at the Sheraton Hotel in Novi Sad.
In one place, there will be 50 women who have succeeded in business, media and culture, and with them there will be 50 female students who want to try themselves in this field after completing their studies: to be successful entrepreneurs, to start their own blog or media, to successfully sell their artwork or organize a concert.
During the lunch, the participants will hear from the lectern the experiences of some of the women with brilliant careers in these fields.
After the lunch, the participants will have a guided tour of the centre of Novi Sad – “Famous Women of Novi Sad” and after that they will visit the exhibition “Perceptions: A woman according to society?” which was organized in the Matica Srpska Gallery in cooperation with the British Council.
At the opening of the event, on November 20th at 1 p.m., will address:
– Maja Gojković, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia
– Brankica Janković, Commissioner for Protection of Equality
– Lara Ham, Founder and Licensor of Quintessentially Adriatic
Among the successful women who will participate in the event are: Olivera Simović, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Novi Sad, Olivera Balašević, Director of Salayka, Vesna Dedić, TV personality and writer, Manja Grčić, Director of Antena Group for Serbia and Montenegro, Nadežda Gaće, Founder and editor-in-chief of the “Novi Magazin” weekly and portal, Minja Miletić, Host and journalist of N1 Television, Snežana Dakić, Journalist of Women’s Television, Ivanka Jovanović, Executive Director of the National Organization of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia, Tijana Palkovljević, Manager of Matica Srpska Gallery, Jelena Bačić Alimpić , Writer, Vesna da Vinča, Writer, journalist and producer and many others.
