In Belgrade and towns across Serbia World Poetry Day was celebrated and on this occasion the company Julius Meinl traditionally organized action in more than 60 cafes called “Pay coffee with a verse” in which citizens choose their favourite beverage and pay it by the verses of famous poets or verses of their own.
This is not the only surprise that the Viennese company for processing of coffee prepared on the occasion of World Poetry Day. During last Saturday, the citizens of Belgrade had the opportunity to work with young actors Matea Milosavljević and Nikola Ranđelović in Ušće Shopping Center building the WALL OF POETRY composed of verses written on bricks. With this action, the company Julius Meinl wants us to turn public to the right values and show that the feelings expressed through the lyrics more valuable than money and that poetry can brighten your world. For this reason, throughout the world, this action is organised every year, gathering a growing number of coffee lovers.
