Nelt Group celebrates its anniversary with a focus on employees and with an annual turnover of 1.3 billion euros
The jubilee year was rounded off with a consolidated turnover of 1.3 billion euros and double-digit revenue growth in all markets. The company’s attention is focused on new partnerships, consistent application of ESG standards, further development of intermodal transport, and strategic development of distribution of pharmaceutical products.
“Nelt Group provides a competitive advantage to its partners by adequately responding to market and global challenges, thereby creating space for constant growth and development. Through the implementation of the Accelerate 2025 strategy, we are focused on digital transformation in business, the development of our colleagues, sustainable business and a responsible attitude towards the communities in which we operate,” said Miloš Jelić, CEO of Nelt Group.
Digitization is a strategic priority of the company’s operations, with the aim of greater efficiency, optimization, and process simplification. Investments in data processing and analytics, automation of operations, and new software solutions marked the previous period and are a roadmap for the company’s further development.
Continuing the transition towards sustainable business by following ESG standards, Nelt Group currently produces 6.5 MW of electricity from sustainable sources in Serbia and North Macedonia, with a plan to increase by an additional 11 MW, which includes Montenegro.
“Our focus for 2024 is the implementation of the regional development strategy of the Nelt Pharmaceuticals division, and there we have an excellent starting point through the contract with the company Kenvue for 6 markets. In addition, we recently opened a second intermodal terminal in Kruševac, which will represent a significant addition to the logistics infrastructure of the region. Our existing intermodal terminal in Belgrade is already recognized as an important logistics hub of the Western Balkans,” said Darko Lukić, executive vice president of Nelt Group.
In 2023, Nelt invested five million euros in additional salaries and increased the number of employees by 265 new colleagues.
