EKVILIBRIUM New art presents Evidence Material of nowadays. Along with prominent contemporary artists, an opportunity to observe the artworks of painters who shall be representing Republic of Serbia at the Venice Biennale is included in the exclusive organization of the Association ‘BLANC / BLANK’.
The Association ‘BLANC / BLANK’ from Belgrade, as its premier presentation, is offering the exclusive exhibition Equilibrium at Luka Beograd (Kosta Kulundzic atelier). The exhibition is scheduled for Friday, April 7th, 2017 at 7:00 PM in which the selection of new works of eight impressive artists shall be presented. Ekvilibrium makes an opportunity of effects carrying mental and emotional balances necessary to face the imageries of truth and justification, through distinctions that surpass mere documents of existence, revealing strong impressions of surrounding phenomena. Artworks of three painters were included in the selection, an entity entitled Enclavia (Vladislav Scepanovic, Milena Dragicevic and Dragan Zdravkovic), selected for the Pavilion of Republic of Serbia at the 57th International Venice Biennale, these central global exposures of artistic endeavour, held from mid of May to November 2017. In the joint presentation, along with the artworks of prominent artist of the current scene, out of which some of whom were in the narrowest selection of artworks of Serbia for the Venice Biennale are Branislav Nikolic, Djordje Stanojevic, Kosta Kulundzic, Kolya Bozovic and Aleksandar Todorovic. Along with the initiators, ’BLANC / BLANC’, the author of the Preface of the exhibition catalogue for the website is Prof. Nikola Suica from the Faculty of Fine Arts, who is also the Curator of the Exhibition Enclavia for the Serbian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Ekvilibrium brings us the authentic creative spectrum, focusing on the liberated art of visible evidence of a world which has escaped control, a world which surprises us by the course it is taking, and one in which it is necessary to, through powers of art, take a conscious stand.
