Promotion of social responsibility through sport
This unique sports tournament brings together socially responsible companies that are ready to take an active role in promoting environmental awareness and physical activity.
Each team consists of 4 employees who compete in the categories of 3×3 (according to FIBA rules) and three-point shooting (where the best shooter will be awarded), and during the competition the MVP player of the tournament will be chosen. The company that brings the most recyclable waste during the tournament will receive the prestigious title of “ECO Winner”.
Sanja Minić, the founder of the Edukort organization and ecological basketball tournament, said about this year’s event: “Our event was created with the aim of promoting social responsibility through sport, i.e. to encourage physical activity and environmental awareness among employees and companies. In the past two years, our tournament has managed to collect over 200 kilograms of recyclable waste, which testifies to the engagement of our participants in preserving the environment. In addition to the sports competition, this proved to be a real event for the entire family of the employees who compete. Not only colleagues come to our tournament, but also family members who passionately support and enjoy the spirit of sportsmanship”.
Applications for participation are open to all companies that want to demonstrate their social responsibility and support positive changes in the community.
