The Embassy of Israel marked the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel

On Monday, June 3, 2024, at Madlenianum theatre, the Embassy of Israel to Serbia marked the Israel’s Independence Day. Guests were welcomed by H.E. Yahel Vilan, the Ambassador of Israel, and his wife.

Esteemed guests, with many members of Serbian diplomatic corps, had the opportunity to view an exhibition Flowers of Nova, works by Israeli artists, and dedicated to the victims, survivors, and those abducted during the massacre at a music festival in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

At the reception at Madlenianum, a concert was also held by famous Shira Utfila ensemble, featuring a special guest from Israel, Lala Tamar, who performs Moroccan, Judeo-Spanish, flamenco, and Middle Eastern music.
