We have interviewed selected persons from the economic and diplomatic community, as well as public life, and found out how embassies, institutions, companies and public figures have organized diplomatic and business activities and themselves during the state of emergency, how they contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 virus, as well as, how they spend their free time and what they will do first when the state of emergency is abolished. Today, we are talking to Bojan and Romana Slačala from the Belgrade-based band Artan Lili, who have been one of the leaders on the indie pop-rock scene in the last 6 years.

1. How did you organize your activities?
As far as work and our concert activities are concerned, everything has stopped, as you know. But given that we have the privilege of engaging in wonderful creative work that can function outside the realm of business, we do not expect anyone to hire us, but we hire ourselves as creators of something – in this case of music and songs. We will certainly use this period to create something that, at some point, we will give our fans and we are not going to let them down.
2. How you spend your private time during the pandemic?
In the beginning, all the activity was related to the kitchen, housework and keeping fit. I guess it’s easier that way while the brain is trying to process everything that is happening to us. Now that I’ve got used to it, I can focus on something creative and smart. These circumstances are brand new to all of us and will not be easy, but with personal discipline and routine, it is possible to overcome it all.
2. What will you do first after the state of emergency is abolished?
I think I will go out and walk aimlessly until my feet hurt.

1. How did you organize your activities?
It all basically boils down to media-related obligations – from the Internet to radio and television. I have been giving a lot of interviews these days. Episode 3 of “The Colour of the Sound” (“Boja Zvuka”) is coming out on Friday, in which we performed with Bjesovi and Dr Karajlić and I can’t wait to see it. There is always something to do for people who want to work.
2. How you spend your private time during the pandemic?
I guess just like everybody else. I cook and consume different cultural content, I play Fortnite and write a little bit. I am getting used to this lasting forever so I make it easier for myself.
3. What will you do first after the state of emergency is abolished?
I am going to put on my shorts and slippers and go out for an ice-cream with my family.
