Bold fashion pieces incorporated into a recognizable style with an accent on timeless black, at least when it comes to the famous designer Bata Spasojević, are the trend for this season
The latest autumn/winter collection of one of our most famous designers will be premiered to the audience in Belgrade at a fashion, stage/visual spectacle, which is scheduled for Monday in the famous Crystal Hall of the prestigious capital city hotel.
Due to Bata’s creative skills that span three decades, this will also be the final event in the year of the great jubilee for our designer. What he promises to fashion lovers is that this time they will also have the opportunity to enjoy exclusivity in every sense – from materials, construction to conceptual solutions for, at first glance, an incredible assembly.
One thing is for sure, this will certainly not be a collection for those who are not ready to show their individuality and boldly step through life.
The collection is called “Individual Hero” and is inspired by small and big heroes, known and unknown. It is colored by the characters of the people who left an indelible and deep mark on the life of our great fashion designer, whether it is famous artists, giants in their professions, or ordinary people he meets every day on the streets of the capital. Each of them, above all, charmed him with their individuality in the expression they radiate.
Black, as Bata’s trademark, but also a symbol of elegance and mysticism, will be dominant this season as well.
“The black color is always somehow dominant in my collections, especially when it comes to fashion pieces that I recommend for autumn and winter. I always say that colors should be added to life, and this season I achieve that with specific geometries, shapes and materials. The strict silhouette of the accentuated lapels on the shoulders, a different shape, give a futuristic note to every piece of clothing and symbolize the entry into a new chapter of life in which we strive to leave an incredible and different visual and non-verbal first impression. Somehow, I always like to send a kind of message through the pieces I’ve worked on, this time it’s – the wind in our backs, let’s be bold to feel the freedom, security and beauty of life” – Bata Spasojević reveals what his upcoming collection will look like and what he recommends for this one the season.
The men’s and women’s collection is ready and fashion lovers will have the pleasure of enjoying his distinctive style and creative skill which, however different it may be from year to year, remains Bata’s trademark for three full decades.
