National Day of Malta celebrates annually on the 24th of June. This year’s celebration of the National Day was canceled and changed for a commemorative reception for His Excellency the Lieutenant of the Grand Master, Fra’ Marco Luzzago, who passed away on June 7, 2022. In lieu of the announced celebration, at the same time and place, H.E. Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Hočevar gave the benediction and paid tribute to St. John the Baptist.
