British opera experts will hold a workshop in Belgrade for young talents!

From April 16^th – 20^th 2018, Operosa will organize a “Recitativo Performance” workshop in Belgrade. It will be led by the renowned British opera director Martin Lloyd Evans along with acclaimed pianist and vocal coach Elizabeth Rowe.

They will meet young talented artists from Serbia, but also from countries across Europe and discuss topics such as importance of knowing and understanding the content of the lines and how to bring them to life.

The recitatives that young artists will be working on are part of ensembles which will be semi-staged for the final performance.

This workshop will mainly focus on Mozart’s opera on Da Ponte’s libretti. It will last for 5 days and it will involve 10 to 12 singers, 2 pianists and 2 stage directors.

This is the first in a row of a several workshops devoted to Mozart, organized by the European Network of Opera Academies (enoa) with Operosa as a member.
