Within the framework of the organization of the Athletic Federation of Serbia, the first SAVA INSURANCE FAMILY RACE was held.
This Race, which marked the Day of the Sava Re Group, was a gift from Sava Insurance to all Belgrade families who wanted to spend an active day in the countryside by the river. Sava Insurance, as a socially responsible company, recognized in the activities and organization of the Athletic Association of Serbia competition, an adequate partner they wanted to support in the organization of this sporting event, which also included employees with their families – the Sava life and the Sava non-life insurance.
Serbian athletes supported this form of organization, with the desire to be even more like these days, and the winner of the bronze European hall medalist Strahinja Jovancevic, was with the participants of the Race all day, and in the end he awarded awards.
The participants were addressed by Mr. Milorad Bosnić, President of the Sava Non-Life Insurance Executive Committee: “Dear participants of the Family Race, I am pleased to greet you in my personal name and on behalf of Sava Insurance, and I welcome the Sava Insurance Family Race. I particularly welcome the youngest participants and captains of families. I believe that you will enjoy walking, running and socializing with members of other families. Sava Insurance as part of the Sava Re Group celebrates the Company’s Day by conducting one of the CSR actions. This year we have decided to break the organization of the First Family Race. Also, our employees from different business units today participate with the families in race. The registered number of the team – the family, the number of all of you who came to take part in the race and to socialize is a confirmation that we made the right choice. We hope that such events will become traditional. I want you to enjoy, to socialize and laugh together and bring as many beautiful impressions as possible from today’s Sava Insurance Family Race. ”
Also, Serbian athletes supported this form of organization, with the desire to be even more like these days, and the winner of the bronze European hall medalist Strahinja Jovancevic, was with us all day, and in the end awarded awards.
The number of participants was limited to 1000, which totaled 300 families. Although the race was not competitive, our “target” has passed over 1000 people who came that day and were part of the additional program of the Race – Active Family Festival. The festival consisted of ten exhibitors who distributed free biscuits, frozen juices throughout the day, held yoga for parents and children, with the active presence of animators and magicians who entertained them.
