At a ceremony that highlighted the most successful companies and individuals in business and innovation, the Diplomacy & Commerce awards were presented on Tuesday, April 9, on the magazine’s eighth anniversary, to leaders in various fields for their exceptional contributions. DHG Group, founded and led by visionary entrepreneur Blagoje Antić, was recognized again this year with the “Diplomacy & Commerce Award for Business Enhancement” for its relentless pursuit of excellence and influential presence in the international real estate and construction sectors.
The award ceremony, hosted at the Jugoslovenska Kinoteka in Belgrade, assembled distinguished guests from the realms of business, diplomacy, and politics. Milena Stevović, a Board member, and the director of DHG doo in Belgrade, gracefully accepted the award on behalf of DHG Holding. Her presence highlighted the founders’ profound involvement and unwavering commitment to advancing DHG Group’s legacy and future projects. Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević presented the award, underscoring the ceremony’s significance.
Following this significant recognition, Milena Stevović, representing DHG Group and leveraging her extensive experience within the company, shared her reflections on the importance of such awards for DHG Group, highlighted the company’s achievements over the past year, and outlined their strategic vision for the future.
Year of Substantial Achievements
Reflecting on the achievements that led to this recognition, Mrs. Stevović detailed a year marked by significant endeavors: “The past year has been intense for DHG Group, focusing on creating high-quality living and business spaces. We commenced the construction of several residential and business projects in our home market and expanded our international influence with projects in Dubai and Belgrade, including our flagship Helvetia Residences. This project alone, valued at around $200 million, saw extraordinary demand with 20% of its units sold on the launch day, indicating the high market anticipation and our effective project planning.”
Looking ahead to the end of 2024, Mrs. Stevović outlined ambitious plans for DHG Group’s development: “Our vision for DHG Group by the end of 2024 encompasses expanding our global presence while reinforcing our influence in Switzerland, our local market. We plan further investments in innovative technologies and sustainable practices supporting long-term growth. We aim to set new industry standards, both in Switzerland and in Serbia and the Emirates.”

When asked about the importance of receiving awards like the “Diplomacy&Commerce Award for Business Improvement” Mrs. Stevović expressed that for DHG Group, “Awards and recognitions serve as a confirmation of our continuous effort, diligence, and commitment. They reflect our unwavering dedication to quality and innovation and motivate us to maintain our momentum. These accolades remind us that our work is valued not just within our company but across the broader business community.”
Over the past 30 years under Blagoje Antić’s leadership, DHG Group has accomplished a remarkable track record, delivering over 300 projects, managing over 1000 rental properties in Switzerland, and developing and building 2.5 million square meters of space, with more than 1000 residential units currently in development.
