A glamorous three-day event, regionally popular participants, an imposing scene, and an experience at the top of Jahorina, left all the visitors of this year’s “2nd Fashion Weekend Jahorina 2023” breathless
With the cooperation of the Jahorina Olympic Center and the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival “2. Fashion weekend Jahorina 2023”, this year started in Sarajevo.
The most famous fashion designers and actors from the region walked the Red Carpet of the most prestigious film festival, attended the screening of the digitally restored version of the film “Ljubav i moda” by Ljubomir Radičević, and then toasted at the Jahorina Fashion Weekend Welcome Party, which OC Jahorina prepared on the festival square in Sarajevo, for all your business partners, friends, and guests.

Director of the Jahorina Olympic Center, Dejan Ljevnaić expressed his satisfaction with the connection and cooperation of the two strongest brands of the Jahorina Olympic Center and the Sarajevo Film Festival and officially opened the “Fashion Weekend Jahorina 2023” as the host.
The excitement reached its peak on the second day – to a magnificent place, on the very top of Jahorina – Olimp bar, at a height of 1918m – next to the lake, where a unique regional fashion festival in nature was presented – “2. Fashion Weekend Jahorina 2023”.
During the two festival days in Jahorina, dozens of the most successful fashion names from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Montenegro presented their original creations, which captivated the audience with their unique design, superior workmanship, materials and surprising details, including Verica Rakočević, Bata Spasojevića, Jovana Petković, Amina Hasanbegović, Nevena Ivanović – Neodesign, Aleksandra Džaković Akka, the Impakt team, and Jahorina and Olimp bar became a magical stage where the nature of nature combined with different expressions of fashion, while every step on the runway and stage was real art.
The creativity and authenticity of domestic talents were shown through their collections by the most famous domestic fashion brands – Sana Linea and Alma Ras, who delighted the audience with their refined design and elegance.
“Let your brand become a trend”, is the name of the joint fashion show where young fashion designers presented their creations and talents: Tihana Todić, brand Treehana (Banja Luka), Nina Vasiljević – La Grande Jewelry (Novi Sad), Anja Andrić (Pale), Ana Ivković – Anu Handmade (Belgrade), Melisa Hujić – brand Etiquete (Sarajevo), Snježana Dupljanin – Snežana Design (Serbia), Sofija Cvijetić (Pale), and as good hosts at the entrance to the Olimp bar, members of the Circle of Serbian Sisters from Pale welcomed us with traditional homemade food and handicrafts.
Thanks to the cooperation with the National Theater of the RS and the Academy of Arts of the RS, the audience had a chance to see a costume show that shaped fashion through different eras, reminding us of a significant cultural heritage.
And the surprises did not end there. The spirit of art, culture, romance, and chic – elevated the most important acting names from the region – Branko Đurić Đuro, Jelena Gavrilović, Zala Djurić and Milutin Mima Karadžić, who sang the evergreen musical numbers from the movie “Ljubav i moda” on the stage, to the delight of the audience, such as “Little Girl”, “Sonja”, ” Ljubav ili šala”, “Ljubav i moda”. They were accompanied on stage by the best musicians of the Quintet orchestra of the Serbian composer Veljko Kuzmančević.
The overall program was enriched with two panels on the topics “Fashion on film and in series as creativity that shapes stories” and “Fashion and business: From artistic vision to business brilliance”, where the following spoke honestly about their experiences and business challenges: Dejan Ljevnaić – director OC Jahorina, Verica Rakočević, fashion designer, Jelena Gavrilović – actress, Zala Djurić – actress, Nataša Stanišić – actress, Bata Spasojević – fashion designer, Rasim Memagić – general manager of Alma Ras company, Marko Feher – fashion designer.
Fashion Weekend in Jahorina came to a successful end. It was celebrated with a joint press conference of all participants and organizers, as well as a concert by Senidah, a great artist, whose rhythms and song echoed through the peaks of Jahorina, while her voice and energy added the final touch to this artistic and fashion spectacle.
