Erste Bank was reinforced in the Executive Board by joining two new members, so Aleksandra Radić took over risk and finance (CRO/CFO), while Tomislav Stena assumed the role of a member of the Executive Committee responsible for Operations (COO). They succeeded Frank Michael Beitz, who will retire at the end of this year, and until then he will be helping new staff with his expertise to support Erste Group in selected projects.
Aleksandra Radić was director of the Risk Management Department at Erste Bank in Serbia from 2007 to 2011, before becoming a member of the Executive Board of Sparkasse Bank in Macedonia, where she was in charge of the risks (CRO). Prior to assuming the current position in Serbia, and since 2015, she was a member of the Executive Board of Erste Bank in Montenegro in charge of risk management and finance (CRO/CFO).
Tomislav Stena joined Erste Bank in Serbia after 12 years of work in various management positions in Erste Group Bank AG – of which, in the last five years, he was the CIO of the Central Functions of the Group (GCF), and then in Erste Group IT International, where he was general manager. At the new position in Erste Bank in Serbia, he is responsible for all issues related to banking operations, IT and project management.
The Executive Board of Erste Bank now consists of Slavko Carić (CEO), Jasna Terzić (Population/HR/Marketing and Communications/Assets), Aleksandra Radić (CRO/CFO) and Tomislav Stena (COO).
