Yesterday, the children’s writer Slavka Petković Grujičić and Partizan football player Saša Zdjelar, as members of the jury, awarded children’s prizes to the participants and winners at the “Football is Love” competition organized by McDonald’s.
Namely, McDonald’s is a global sponsor of the FIFA competition, and this year it is the World Cup in Moscow, and this year McDonald’s celebrates 30 years of business in Serbia, all of which were good and sufficient reasons to open a literary contest for children ages 6 to 10 years, where the children in up to 200 words were asked to describe why they love football. In the jury, besides Slavko and Saša, the actor was Boki Perić, who due to his business obligations could not attend the awards. The winner is a 10 year old Zemun girl, Hana Ubović, and she won the main prize for participation in the Player Escort program, which means she will travel with Moscow to Moscow for the World Cup in football and come with one player on the court in the Serbia-Brazil match. In addition, Hana will have various skills training in Moscow and hang out with children around the world. Both Hana and Dad will cheer for the Eagles in that match against Brazil. In addition to this main prize, McDonald’s awarded four other prizes: Football balls were given to Boris Sarić (9) and Vuk Pavićević (10), family lunch at McDonald’s restaurant was given to Damjan Komadinić (7) and the birthday party at McDonald’s restaurant Aleksa Filipovic (10).
