On Tuesday May 14th, the French Ambassador, his excellency Mr Frédéric Mondoloni, appointed Mr Živanko Radovančev Officer of the Order of Agricultural Merit at the Residence of the French Embassy.
Mr Živanko Radovančev was minister for agriculture in 2000 and, since then, has been an important actor in the French-Serbian agricultural relation. As an engineer he had a training course in France in 1981, in the National Institute for Agronomic Research. But above all, he became the director of Mlekoprodukt (Zrenjanin) the same year and remained in this position since then: in that position, he renewed his links with France after 2004, when Mlekoprodukt was purchased by the French company Bongrain/Savencia – a company for which he has served as a consultant for 15 years.
