Gebrüder Weiss, the oldest transport and logistic company in the world, appointed Roland Raith as the new country manager for Serbia. He is also responsible for Gebrüder Weiss Montenegro, whose country manager reports to him. Mr. Raith has been with Gebrüder Weiss for more than 20 years and during this period has held a wide variety of positions, including country manager for Gebrüder Weiss in Slovenia.
Since entering the Serbian market, Gebrüder Weiss has invested more than 16 million euros in logistics terminals, equipment, office buildings, parking spaces and properties. Today, this logistics specialist employs around 250 people at three locations in Serbia and offers its customers a full range of logistics services on a logistics area of 20,000 square meters.
Strategic goal of Gebrüder Weiss is to, together with Mr. Raith, continue to strengthen the position of the company in Serbia, but also in the regions of Central and Southeastern Europe, where the company operates on more than 90 locations.
