The first of the 90 financial organizations in Serbia with a certificate for family-run business Belgrade – Generali Insurance Serbia is the first financial organization in Serbia and the region that has received the Family Friendly Enterprise certificate. The certificate is awarded to companies that enable their employees to more easily align their private life obligations with their obligations at work. The certificate was received by the Chairman of the Executive Board of Generali Osiguranja Serbia Dragan Filipović.
Dragan Filipović, President of the Executive Board and CEO of Generali Osiguranja Srbija, said on this occasion: “I am proud of this certificate because it confirms that our employees are in the first place. Over 1,500 people work in our company. Their satisfaction is a prerequisite for the successful operation of the company and therefore we want to enable them to enjoy without stress the most important events in life. Given that we are doing business in an industry where the pace of work is very dynamic and intense, it is important for our people to adjust their personal needs with the business. We made a serious difference in working conditions, not only in relation to our previous operations, but also in comparison with other companies in Serbia and the region. ”
Family Friendly Enterprise is a process of assigning certificates to corporate social responsibility companies with a focus on work-life balance and private life of employees. The certificate is awarded by TMS CEE d.o.o. according to the certification scheme Ekvilib instituta.
Thanks to the benefits offered to its employees, Generali Osiguranje Serbia became one of the prestigious employers and became the first financial organization, over 90 in Serbia, which received this significant certificate, which confirms the family’s responsible business operations.
Generali Insurance Serbia has for some time enabled its employees to work with flexible working hours, working out of the office, a special package of benefits for people with disabilities, advising parents on enrollment of children in secondary schools, short working hours after maternity leave with full salary, additional days of annual holidays for single parents, payment of school materials for single parent children. Employees also have a leisure area with social games or massage and the possibility of relaxing with yoga.
Generali Insurance Serbia wants to receive a FFE certificate after the basic one. The right to acquire a full certificate is acquired after three years of successful implementation of the measures. General Family Family Team plans to introduce new measures, such as cash loans for employees, additional free days for newcomers, free days and short-time working hours for the departure of children in kindergarten or school, adapting work conditions to the employee’s personal situation, free days for participation in volunteer activities, increased communication with employees, etc.
Company Generali Reinsurance Serbia and Generali Voluntary Pension Fund Management Company also received a certificate.
