Renowned international financial magazine Global Finance has granted Banca Intesa the award for the Best Bank in Serbia for 2018.
According to the magazine’s editorial board, the awards are handed out to the most successful banks in 150 countries across the globe that attended carefully to their customers’ needs and accomplished better results. In its selection process, the editorial board considered criteria such as growth in assets, new business development and innovation in products while also taking into consideration opinions of analysts, banking consultants and corporate readership.
“The award that magazine Global Finance granted us again this year confirms the results that we had accomplished and which we base on quality relations with our customers and the community in general. Constantly striving to improve ourselves, we advance the quality of products and services in keeping with the needs of our customers as well as with technological development. In that sense, we are well on our way towards digital transformation, thereby, I believe, laying strong foundations for sustainable growth and future successes”, said Draginja Đurić, President of Banca Intesa Executive Board.
Banca Intesa is the leading bank in the Serbian market by all key performance indicators – total assets, capital, loans and customer deposits. The bank has 1.38 million clients, a network of 158 branches across the country, as well as the most developed network of POS terminals and ATMs in Serbia.
Global Finance magazine, based in New York and with offices in London and Milan, was founded in 1987. It is published on a monthly basis with a circulation of around 50,000 copies and readers in 163 countries, including CEOs and CFOs of leading multinational companies and financial institutions.
