The winner of the “Start Tel Aviv” competition organised by the Embassy of Israel and the Centre for the Development of Technology Entrepreneurship “ICT Hub” is the startup “Globe Scout Me”.
The winning startup, behind which is the young entrepreneur Ognjen Vlaškalin, is based on a unique internet platform that allows athletes to display their abilities all over the world for free. Israel’s Ambassador H E Alona Fisher-Kamm pointed out that the winners, together with representatives from 23 metropolis, would have the opportunity to participate in the DLD festival in Tel Aviv. For the competition, which has been organised by the Embassy of Israel for the fourth time, more than ten start-ups have applied, and five companies entered the shortlist which presented their innovative solutions to the jury headed by Moria Kasis. The mobile application “Filter App”, a guide to cultural events in Belgrade, “Do for the cause”, is an online platform that enables busy people to delegate one-time tasks to those who are interested in earning, “Solagro” with the project Smart Recycling Press and Application Couch Coach, which helps basketball fans actively engage in the game.
