National Day of the Hellenic Republic officially commemorated
Serbian officials, members of foreign diplomatic missions, representatives of the Greek business community, educational and cultural institutions, Serbian media, as well as Greek and Serbian friends of the Embassy, honored us with their presence on Monday, March 25, at the reception of the Embassy of Greece in Belgrade on the occasion of the Greek national day.
That same evening, the City of Belgrade illuminated Slavija Square with the colors of the Greek flag.
On Sunday, March 24, a doxology was held at the Cathedral Church in Belgrade, in the presence of the Greek ambassador, the ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, staff of both embassies and Greeks living in Serbia. A wreath was then laid at the statue of Rigas Feraios by the Greek ambassador and the defense attaché, Captain Evangelos Ekatomatis.
