The company Imlek announced today that the average paid price of raw milk to farms in Serbia for the month of March will be higher than 70 dinars per liter of raw milk, which represents a record high paid price, taking into account that the purchase price of milk in the EU has fallen in the last period. to 40 euro cents, and even lower.
In accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Serbia, in the past period, despite major market turbulence, Imlek did not significantly lower the purchase price of milk and did not delay payments to its suppliers. The company will implement the policy of regular payments to its subcontractors, as before, diligently without a single day of delay.
Acknowledging the efforts and measures of the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the stabilization of the raw milk market, Imlek took additional quantities of milk from farms with which other dairies canceled cooperation, despite the fact that through its own purchase of domestic milk, it covers its current needs. As a socially responsible company, Imlek adopted that decision in order to maintain the stability of the milk and milk products market in Serbia.
