On November 4, 99 years after the end of the First World War, Italy celebrates National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day.
On that occasion, in Belgrade on November 3, at 10 am, a commemoration was held at the Italian Military Cemetery located within the New Cemetery, where 1.063 Italian soldiers were killed, who lost their lives in the First World War. Italian Ambassador H E Giuseppe Manzo and Military Attaché Colonel Paolo Sfarra, laid wreaths on the great altar together with representatives of Serbian authorities and representatives of friendly and allied countries.
