JAT Tehnika, the Serbian subsidiary of the international group Avia Prime, is expanding its existing partnership with the Aviation Academy. To the students of the final year of the Aviation Academy, the company will offer an internship program for aircraft mechanics. After the selection and successful completion of the internship, young colleagues can increase their income in junior positions as aircraft mechanics, in cooperation with the Government, through the “My First Salary” program.
The practical training for the students of the Aviation Academy, which has been intensively conducted at JAT Tehnika since the end of last year, under the mentorship of the experienced staff of the company, is about to be upgraded. As the company reports, a special paid internship program has been created for the graduates of the academy. After the selection and successful completion of the internship, students will have the opportunity to immediately get a job in the junior positions of aircraft mechanics, with competitive compensation compared to their experience. According to the first calculations, young mechanics can get a significant boost in payment, thanks to the program of the Government of Serbia – My first salary.
In addition, Avia Prime will train the newcomers in their three-year journey to receive EU-issued, EASA mechanic license without any extra costs.
“The opportunity to train a new generation of aircraft mechanics is extremely exciting,” said Piotr Kaczor, CEO of Avia Prime. “We are able to do that and we are aware that the need for these educated staff will be a problem for many companies in the industry. In the program, we created with the Aviation Academy, and with great and cleverly designed help from the Government, everyone is winning. The school has an even more competitive offer with this project, students get their first job without hunting, and with competitive earnings compared to their knowledge. We, on the other hand, train high performing employees who will be the driving force behind our new, ambitious projects. We are already preparing the ground for projects, where new jobs will be created.”
“We are looking at the ultimate trends in the MRO industry. We have an engine shop in Belgrade and we know that the engine business is going to grow most rapidly in the upcoming years. We have space to grow and the ambition to capitalize on the trends to build even more sustainable organizations. The more visible changes for the general public will undoubtedly show that our potential in Serbia can grow significantly. And with it, the job market for people here.” – Piotr Kaczor sums up.
“JAT Tehnika” has already informed the graduates of the Aviation Academy about these programs, and the company is preparing a presentation for the parents, which will be held in May.
