October is the time when Lindex Serbia is joining forces with its customers in the fight against breast cancer. For the fourth year in a row, Lindex will donate 10 percent of sales revenue from the entire range from the women’s and women’s departments to the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia, from October 24 to November 6.
By donating money from Lindex and customers in 2017, they collected an electro-surgical generator and medical equipment for the Clinic for Oncology Surgery.
“Support to the fight against breast cancer is very important to us, because Linde’s wife is everything to us, and many of them have been affected by this disease. They inspire us, motivate us. They are our customers and our colleagues. We want to do as much as we can to contribute to this great goal and we are happy that we have employees and customers who show extraordinary commitment. We are proud of the results so far and year after year we are trying to take a step further in raising awareness of the disease, “said Jelena Zorica Zivkov, brand manager at Triple Jump, the franchise partner of Lindex in Serbia.
At the event dedicated to presenting the cooperation of Lindex and the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia, the Speakers addressed the Ambassador of Sweden Jan Lundin who supported the work of Lindex in the fight against this wicked disease. Head of Gynecology IORS Petar Radlovic emphasized the importance of support in improving conditions in this institution.
“Lindex Pink is an example campaign that, by raising women’s awareness of the importance of prevention, gives positive results. The number of preventive examinations has increased, which we know by the fact that the number of detected tumors has increased in the initial phase. What is important for women to know is that the disease is curable when it is detected in the initial phase, “said Srdjan Nikolic, director of the Clinic for Oncology Surgery of the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia.
The event was attended by numerous personalities from public life. On this occasion, symbolically, representatives of IORS and Triple Jump cut the pink ribbon and marked the beginning of this year’s Pink campaign.
