The Human and Minority Rights Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia is organizing the commemoration of International Human Rights Day on Monday, December 9th, 2019, starting at 3 pm at Trg Slobode (Liberty Square) in Novi Sad.
The event, which will be held under the slogan “Serbia is equal for all”, will feature the following speakers – Suzana Paunović, Director of the government’s Human and Minority Rights Office, Biljana Barošević, Assistant Minister in the Sector for Protection of Persons with Disabilities of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs, Jene Hajnal, President of the National Council of the Hungarian National Minority, Helena Vuković, retired Serbian Armed Forces Major and an activist.
The event will also feature an exhibition of posters titled “Tolerance 2”, while the inclusive choir ISON and the music group Retro Acoustic will perform during the culture segment of the programme. Plus, Serbian and national costumes of national minorities will be showcased at the event.
